Zachary Steele was born in Orlando, Florida, and has called Miami, Phoenix, Roanoke, and Richmond, Virginia--as well as various ports of call in and around Metro Atlanta-- home.
He is the owner of Wordsmiths Books in Decatur, Georgia and has been featured on NPR and in The Atlanta Journa-Constitution, Publisher's Weekly, and Shelf Awareness. He currently lives in Decatur, Georgia, where he and his wife, Alice, spend their time away from the bookstore caring for the multitude of four-legged children they have adopted over the years.
An avid reader and writer, Zach enjoys hiking, camping, baseball, cooking, studying various religions and philosophies, reality television, pretending that trees are buildings and concrete is just really hard dirt, and cheese.
Anointed is his first novel. He is diligently at work on his second novel, while trying to pretend that the screaming child of a bookstore in the corner is just fine, thank you. Someday he hopes to rule the moon.
